Olive Branch Fostering is proud to announce that it has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted, the highest possible rating, following its latest inspection. This prestigious accolade recognises Olive Branch Fostering’s unwavering dedication to providing exceptional care and support for children and young people, as well as the outstanding contribution of its foster carers.

The Ofsted report highlights the agency’s child-centred approach, rigorous safeguarding practices, and the strong sense of community among staff and foster carers. Inspectors praised the agency for delivering high-quality placements where children and young people thrive in safe, nurturing environments.

“We are delighted to receive this Outstanding rating from Ofsted,” said Joanne Sharples, Director of Olive Branch Fostering. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work, compassion, and professionalism of our foster carers, staff, and everyone involved in our organisation. Our mission has always been to create safe, supportive and loving homes for children, and this recognition reaffirms that we are doing just that”

Children are the future of our society and every chid deserves a happy childhood, to believe, achieve, succeed and enjoy their journey to adulthood and to become the best person they possibly can be.” As Joanne Sharples says, “Here from the beginning and here for the future.”

The report also commended Olive Branch Fostering for its comprehensive training programmes, 24/7 support for carers, and tailored services that meet the individual needs of each child. This level of support enables carers to provide stable, loving homes where children can develop and achieve their full potential. Olive Branch call this approach ‘In it Together with our children, our families, our people, and our partners,’

Olive Branch Fostering has been connecting carers since 2016 and works across the North West of England to recruit, train, and support foster carers who are passionate about making a difference in young lives. The agency offers ongoing training, generous financial allowances, and a dedicated support network to ensure that foster carers feel valued and equipped to meet the complex needs of the children in their care.

“This rating motivates us to continue striving for excellence in everything we do,” added Joanne Sharples. “We are committed to building brighter futures for children in care and will continue working closely with our foster carers, local authorities, and partners to deliver outstanding outcomes for our children and young people.”

With this Outstanding rating, Olive Branch Fostering aims to attract more potential foster carers to join its growing community and help meet the increasing demand for high-quality foster placements across the region. Ofsted recognised the warm welcome given by the agency to those who are thinking of fostering and recognises Olive Branch fostering for its ‘family feel’.
