Special delivery in the Blackburn community this Christmas

Olive Branch Fostering has always been committed to supporting a variety of local projects and sports teams, ensuring children and young people have as many opportunities as possible to thrive across Lancashire.

As part of our commitment to our local communities, we’re a proud sponsor of the Great Harwood Cricket Club Under 9’s children’s team. And when invited along to join their festivities this Christmas, we were delighted to play the part of ‘Santa’s little helpers’, providing Mr Claus with extra gift boxes for the team’s young players.

Thank you, Olive Branch, from some of the under 9’s team who will now be moving to the under 11’s next season at Great Harwood Hawks Cricket Club. We are extremely grateful.

Established near Blackburn in 1849, the Club has a thriving junior section covering all ages from All-Stars right through to under-18s. Our Team Manager Melissa had the honour of providing the special delivery to the Club.

Great Harwood is such a friendly, sociable, and inclusive cricket club and we’re very proud to offer our support to the children’s team this season. Going along to their Christmas celebrations and supporting Santa with his extra deliveries from Olive Branch Fostering was truly wonderful.
